It was at various times that he would lose and she would win. If you wanted to call it that -- losing and winning. Conversely, at various times she would lose and he would win. If you wanted to call it that -- losing and winning. What really was happening? They were both making good points at various times. They just didn't take note of that fact at the various times that they thought someone was winning and someone was losing.

He wanted various lovers. She might have gone for that too except that she knew it really wasn't various lovers she wanted -- at least not in reality. She wanted one lover who was various in bed but stable, friendly, opinionated yet warm and kind. She wondered if he wanted the same thing too -- a lover who was various rather than the various lovers. Was it possible?

Various names were called out before she recognized her own. Time to stop zoning out. Time to pick up the pace. Time to make various choices that she should have made a long time ago. It was now or never or so she thought. Various times she'd been here before. The shades were always gray but some light peeped through. It's always better on the other side.

When we combine the two sometimes things are better. The one supplements the other. Expansion and learning takes place. Growth and strengthening happen when we combine things. Sometimes, we come up with something altogether new and brilliant.

signs

Of all the signs in the world, that one was the worse I've ever seen. "Exit right," but there really was no exit at all. The road curved and split much later (maybe 5 miles down the road). Up to that point, it had been a four lane road.

vote

The vote was important but no one could really decide on who to pick. Both candidates had some good points but both also had bad ones too. No one wanted to vote for someone who would try to control every aspect of their lives but no one would also vote for someone who seemed to totally ignore them, their needs, and their wants, wishes and desires.

fawn

The fawn rustled the leaves in the forest. The forest was quiet up until that point. The rustling sounds the fawn made were like a rushing of water and the leaves crackled under her feet like thunder. The fawn was unaware of the cacophony. She was focused upon the buried nuts.

fawn

He thought of a fawn when he looked into her eyes. They were young eyes, he thought. "Eyes of the innocent," kept ringing through his head until he thought his head would explode.

One hundred forty three days to go. That's all I had asked for. I didn't think I needed more. One hundred forty three lovely days full of everything I could possibly think of. Including the cute guy with the fantastic car and the best smile I'd seen in a long time. Now, One hundred forty three days doesn't seem nearly enough.

The breath was cold when it should have been warm. I was worried about what was going on. I had never seen death happening so I didn't know if this was it for her. I panicked and ran to the phone. Dialing quickly I was able to get the emergency service, report the information I needed to, and hang up the phone while I tried to calm down with a series of slow breaths.
