I don't even know what plaid means. How's this supposed to help. :( I have writer's block and I'm supposed to be talking about plaid and I have no idea what it is. Isn't it some sort of material? Or is that pleat? Like pleated skirts? I'm gonna have to google this after. I'll google 'plaid' and be like oh yeahhhhh now I remember. I'm such a dork, just waffling on like this. Hmmmm. *waits for timer to finish* ooh there we go.
She dragged her fingers across the chalkboard, a metallic screeching sound that made my insides curl and my features to twist into an expression of pain, much like everyone else's in the room. This was her favourite way to get our attention. I'd always thought a simple 'hello' would suffice, but I guess each to their own.
