My daddy says I'm alive.
Not in that I'm breathing. Not in that I eat, drink, or sleep. But because I am thirsty for life, hungry for adventure, because I love living and live every moment with undeniable enthusiasm. It was the best compliment I've ever received in my life.
Respecting yourself. Man worship.
Worshipping man doesn't have to be an arrogant, dirty thing. It means that you worship man's highest potential at his most pure state. It means you celebrate what we are capable of without glorifying the individual. Is there anything more noble than that?
Headphones help you hear. But headphones can also block external noises too.
Isn't that funny? That something designed to make you feel one way can have a completely different, alternative effect too. What about love.
Sustain...to be able to support.
Sustenance.
Sustainable.
I can keep going. I can stay strong. It isn't over yet.
I've never found a language class so difficult; I feel like everyone knows what they're doing.
I like this guy who lives right across the hall from me. I like him a lot. And I never want to mess it up. And I am so happy to have him there; I am so happy that he is so close.
Is that kind of like a miracle?
You can see color. You can see lines and shadows and contour. But you FEEL texture. Your fingers brush the soft, or ragged, or worn fabric, and you FEEL what lies beneath.
Some of the most important things in life can't be seen, only felt.
You are so important to me.
I empathize with the young male. To be masculine in this society - to be forced to hide your tears, swallow the lump in your throat, close your heart to all emotion. It's harder to be a boy than a girl. Yet I am the one who perpetrates society's view of the masculine ideal.
I read once that religion has monopolized powerful, powerful words. It has taken them and forced man to become self deprecating in order to attain some sense of fulfillment.
But there lies a deeper existence, a more human experience that allows man to succeed in all that he does. There lies the human ideal that worships man's potential. Salvation? You don't need Church for that.
It's politically incorrect.
But I'll say it anyways.
I am sick of overweight women
who whine about the thin models in magazines.
What's wrong with being thin?
If you love you, what does it matter if they look different?
Society isn't what's keeping from loving ourselves.
YOU are keeping yourself from loving yourself!
It's weird to think: we're all going to die someday. But what happens afterwards? The law of the conservation of energy says that matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Then we, as carbon based beings, can never be destroyed...
