Everyone wants me to compete. Not just me--but you, too. The world is a place where competition rules. One cannot be just so-so. One cannot be happy with where they are at. You always have to look past the other person and make sure you beat then, too.
Competition, for me, is a way to tear down another person. Competition is healthy sometimes, sure. We need that stress. But not when it'll kill another person.
