Velvet Revolver, it's a videogame from what little I've heard of it. The name's a bit weird if you thinking about it... Velvet's supposed to be nice and soft but it seems to always cover something much harder underneath like metal or hard wood etc. It's deceptively alluring.
The only time I ever lived by a beach was in Irvine. We used to have beach parties every summer in the band, get together and enjoy the end of the school year, toss all our homework papers into the firepits and see all the hours of stress evaporate away. Sitting in a group, listening to one of the guys play a sappy tune on the guitar as the sun sets... the cinders of our past glowing and winking out in the space of a breath.
Bleach is supposed to help clean things by killing all the bacteria etc but it smells terrible!
There's a jazzy tune being played by a guy with a old sax across the room. He's accompanied by a pianist smoking a cigar whie lighlty tapping the keys. You see pretty legs with red heels partnered with legs inside dark legged pants that end in black, shined shoes. The soft music grates on your ears and the elegant dancers are hard to see through the alcohol haze... or maybe through the tears, it's hard to tell.
Life without a partner is not an enviable thing. Someone to lean on and be there when you're at your worst. Someone to cuddle with and laugh with you when you're at your best. It's been a while.
I can't believe people suggested nuking the blown oil well in the Gulf in order to seal it, pretty stupid idea if you ask me. I mean, think about the fallout...
Driven snow? dirty. Driven to excel... Driven by the need to succeed. Ferrari.
I need to do my laundry today, shoulda done it yesterday... no more boxers for meee... It kinda reminds me of Firefly the show, the character Wash, the pilot?
