Paperclips are cool. I think that they are really useful for making paperclip chains. I don't know what paperclip chains are really useful for, except for wearing as necklaces or making patterns out of, but they're a distraction and fun to make, sort of like making daisy chains. You can also use paperclips to clip paper, but I'm not so sure that that deserves as much merit as making paperclip chains. Afterall, it's much more fun to make paperclip chains than it is to clip papers together.
Optimism is a thing that a lot of people need but not a lot of people had. I wish I was optimistic, but that's too optimistic of a thought. I'm not pessimistic - or at least, I don't like to think I am, though I sometimes really act like it - but I am a bit realistic. I prefer to think of the worst thing that can happen, often, because that way when there's a good result I end up being really surprised and pleased with it. If I think of the best thing which could happen, I'll almost surely be disappointed.
There are lots of kinds of typewriters, I think. There are the old ones, which probably fill really old people with nostalgia but just make me think about how much keyboards and the like have improved in the last - like, I don't know when keyboards or typewriters were invented so I don't know how many - years. And then there are the newer typewriters, like the one my mom has at her office, and I guess they're just for typing out stuff which can't be printed out.
Boa makes me think of feather boas, I guess, which you wear to parties. I don't go to many parties, really, so I guess I don't know much about them. My mom had a birthday party on the weekend, and then another party during the week. Because my birthday's in the middle of summer I rarely have parties, and when I do it's just a few people and a sugar-free cake and some books as presents, which is quite nice. Today we're going to get Christmas trees and then eat, all with some friends, which I guess is a sort of party.
I don't know what use sticks have, apart from the saying, "sticks and stones can break your bones, but words can never hurt you". I've always thought that that saying was utter junk, because words can hurt you, and sticks don't usually break your bones - unless they're logs or something, and then they're not really sticks because sticks are things which have fallen off trees and because logs are the main parts of trees they can't really fall off. So yeah - I don't think that the saying makes any sense.
