It was such a hassle, climbing through the Jefferey's tubes. Luretan hated maintenance work; why in the world he had been chosen for this mission, he had no idea. Or...maybe he did; he could see better in the dark than anyone else, and he had enough technical skill to get the job done. The lights in the Vesper were not working properly, at least not in this section. It was his job to fix the photon emittor, and get the engines back online. It was a big job, but someone had to do it.
Sunlight is warm. At the right time of day, in the right part of the right season, sunlight is wonderful. It makes it just warm enough so that you feel comfortable. More like a natural sweater, than anything else. Gives life to things...
Left.. I'm left handed. When I was little my dad got me left handed scissors. I never realized that the right-handed ones didn't work as well for me as the other until I tried both. Now I get frustrated anytime I use the right-handed ones. I write better with my left hand, but I can throw with my right hand. Left-handed eating is a must, though.
There was too much walking involved in hunting. Cose walked quickly, his Pikmin following close behind, their little legs having to move faster to keep up with him. He had to remind himself to stop and wait for the little leaf ones to catch up. So much walking; his legs ached. Why didn't he realize how far they would have to go?
Buildings can hold many things. This one happened to be Professor Crane's office. Run down and old, there were cobwebs in every corner, and broken glass around most of the windows, as if people had jumped out in terror. Perhaps that was true. Crane liked the building just they way it was.
Stories were long - John didn't have the time to tell one. There were too many people around who didn't want to hear him, and instead of telling the tale, he simply sat and fidgeted. Not enough time to begin, not enough time to end it. "Once upon a time..."
