The place in my house that is very cold, where I do many of my chores. I like going to the basement in the summer as it is the only cool place in the house. I am thankful for my basement in severe weather. I remember my Grandma's basement and the smell, with a fruit cellar full of canned goods from the summer before. It was a very fun place with collections and a pool table.
