Sometimes I like to close my eyes and wander through my own mind. I never know what I'll find there, which is part of the adventure. And when I'm done, I write down my experiences for all to see, should they choose to wander my mind with me, and maybe one day explore their own heads for a while.
A statement is not a hard thing to make. You take a thought that you believe in fairly strongly and you say it out loud, preferably with conviction. Then you make sure to put a period on the end of it, meaning no up-talking. i.e. No, "This is a grape, right?" Not a statement!
I'd like to make a brief statement about the word statement. It consists of two parts, the first of which is the word "state" coming from the verb "to state" which means to say something directly. The second part is a suffix, "ment" and when it is added on to the end of a word, it turns that word into a noun. See "environment" and "governmenernmenteernmentrnment

The bee was close, too close. I hated bees, but there was a prize if I won. Spelling was always one of my strong points, so I thought I'd give it a shot. All I had to do was remember to wake up in the morning.
Almost there. Don't know where. I almost care. Oh, look, a bear!
She was swept off her feet. The man had brought her flowers! If only she didn't own a flower shop...but the sentiment was there at least. She understood that he was trying his best. The next day she couldn't stop thinking about it as she swept the petals off the floor. The flowers he'd brought her sat in a special vase on the counter.
