I wish I could find a moment where everything froze, if only for just a second. All of the obligations, activities, deadlines - suspended for a moment. Freedom. With a little time to take a breath, I could assess all the things I have to do.
I sometimes wonder if the radical ends of the political spectrum think rationally. They seem to be absolutely consumed by party loyalty to the extent that they do not contemplate political decisions in a humanistic sense, but rather in a blind competitive way.
Fog shrouded the little village ahead. Perfect mood for a town we knew was loaded with VC. Upon further inspection, I noticed two turrets and a huge load of ammunition.
Life is all about decisions. Suppose you buy a snack in the vending machine. Suppose you invite someone to church. Suppose you drive across the United States. Every day, we have an endless amount of choices.
Look back to when you were a kid. Disneyland was an endless environment of new adventures. A cardboard box was ample shelter. I miss the days where getting lost in endless amusement was so easy and readily available.
He was cunning. A quick, precise jab in and out of the pocket always did the trick. Then, he vanished, with the darkness of the quiet night enveloping his path.
There's an art to soft pretzels. Somewhere in the mix you have to know what the right amount of salt is. Too much and it's just bitter, dry like a desert. It tastes all right, but the amount of drink needed outweighs the pleasure.
There are two connotations of camp for me: the Boy Scouts and workshop camps.
See, the Boy Scout camps - Lakota, Napowan - were not fun. Boy Scouts never treated me well; that's why I quit in sixth grade.
However, camps where I harnessed abilities in the fine arts were always fantastic moments.
I just don't understand racism.
Maybe it's the generation into which I was born, or maybe it's the diverse environment in which I spend my adolescence, but it doesn't make sense to me.
Yeah, people come from different countries, backgrounds, etc...
But we're all made in God's image.
