you came and went like rain falling from a cloudless sky

she wasn't insane but she played the game so damn different it was insane. it took me a while to get it why she'd bit her tongue off before she bit it. and drink Truth's blood before she spit it

what do you call a man who encourages his wife to be a prostitute and puts his children out on the street to beg and steal?

In a city like this the whole damn universe seems like a curse. Time is a knife and Space is a stab wound. Darling, I know it's unthinkable, but around here we're the closest thing to God we've got.

Here you are nothing. You simply don't count. You are here to obey, to accept everything, to keep your mouth shut.

pairs

Coming from the car of a young lady who had to pull over as she exited the cemetery to cry her eyes out, I heard an ensemble as mountainous and glorious as Hans Zimmer's when he conducts at his zenith...and I wondered if she heard it too.

pairs

The greatest men have never known the world's greatest women, and the greatest women have never known the world's greatest men. yet, without ever meeting, or even knowing of each other's existence, they shared a love together too great for physical pairs to ever come close to.

delve

Delve into this one: "A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

The formation of the hero has begun, pray it is not shattered: Your realization of that part of you which has not yet come into existence but is still in the process of becoming that also grows in the hopes of strangers whom you will never meet but will share a heart with, one that will beat across the world.

If we had never before looked upon the earth, but suddenly were born not as an infant, but full grown, and sat down in the midst of a summer meadow, would it not seem to us a radiant vision of impossible magic and unspeakable beauty? The spilling colors, the spilling shapes, the spilling songs and life of birds spilling through the airy way above all the sunlight. We would be overwhelmed with a glory unable to grasp, hardly believing that such incomprehensibles could be mere matter.
