The symphony begins with a light pounding on the tympani. Faster and faster the beats grow louder. The music can be heard all throughout the room-- the music of Thunder and Its mighty hooves.
I don't really like slavery. Who does? Some people, obviously, or there wouldn't be any of it left. Unfortunately there is only too much of it in the world. What gives a person the idea that they have the right to force someone else to obey them without question? Politics, I suppose...
Sitting on out on the rooftop, Mabel stared out across the expanse of her city. Varying hues of pink and purple bounced between the skyscrapers as the sun sunk into a peaceful sleep.
The little girl stepped into the first room. The smell embraced her like a warm blanket. All of the figures surrounding her were so quaint and delicate-- little people dancing and playing house. She never wanted to leave.
The President doesn't really have much power when you think about it. I mean, he has Veto and social-standing. But the legislative branch makes the laws and the judicial branch enforces them. He's not unlike the Queen. o.O
They flew through the fields, manes wooshing in their trails. The sound of their hooves could be heard through the forests and mountains. Each call a beauty unto its own.
The man had flare, I'll give him that. Even though his schemes were so sadistically barbarian- he was very clever in their execution.
Well waiting for his return, she looked around the room. There were wall-to-wall shelves. It might've been beautiful except for all of the dust. Upon closer inspection she saw what it all hid-- row after row of preserved hearts.
"See anything you like?" She turned with a start at his voice and noticed his lascivious grin. It was then when she realized her impending peril.
The moon lies down in a sea of sleep.
She curls into a fetus bracing herself for
the onslaught of the coming sun.
He doesn't like the night.
"I do declare!" Mrs. Jenson flew into the room, distraught.
"Positively inspiring, really," Ms. Boudelaire looked to the arrival of her sister in-law, "is it not?"
