Half a moon ago (which I have always thought was a weird way to talk about time) a girl looked up at the stars and wished for better things. She didn’t get them. Every night since she looks up and wishes for better or a least more decent things. She never gets them. She never will as long as she does nothing but sit and wish upon a star.
