Thunder... is experienced in a completely different way in my mind than in real life, I suppose. Those in the west, who actually experience thunder in real life, may find it frightening... But I find it comforting, to know that thunder is looking out for me... It keeps reminding me that there's a storm outside, and Id be safer in my warm home.
