Normally i am always on my guard. That was until I met him. Everything about me changed, I wanted what I was normally scared of. And here's the kicker. He was on his guard, but he wanted me too. It's funny how life likes to tease you.
"Does anyone have the solution?" Everything on the board was meshing into one singular black blob, and I realized that I spent the entire hour listening to something that was going though one ear and out the other. And now the teacher stood in front of the class asking for the answer, and was staring directly at me.
"Go forth my son," father laid bloody on the ground, sword in his abdomen, "You must go on without me. You must survive." His face whitened and I resisted the urge to wipe the sweat off of his brow. My father had always been the strong one and now It was my turn. I placed my hand upon his and squeezed it. Standing up I walked away, leaving him, the battlefield, and my family behind.
