He was lousy in bed. So i faked it. Later when we are having a fight, I might use this against him. But for now I'll let him dream.
I missed you. It's pass tense as in i don't anymore. I'm no longer crushed by your heartless decision.
While the sirens go off in the distance, the town is going crazy. The every light in this city has been shut off and the citizens are going mad. In the fields behind a warehouse, there's a large crowd gathered together. In this mist of the crowd there is screaming. I can't make out any of the words.
"We gotta get closer!" my brother whispers loudly in my ear.
I nod my head slightly, not completely sure it's the best idea. My brother sneaks his way through the crowd. I stagger a few paces behind him watching his back. I am very careful not to attract any attention.
As we get closer my ears start to ring from all the noise. Something is very bad. Very bad indeed. As I move forward i begin to realize that the ground is wet. I find this odd because it hasn't rained all summer. I stared at the grass. I wanted to touch it, I wanted to confirm that it was just water. But something told me that i shouldn't do that.
So i just kept moving.
When i looked forward i saw that my brother had reached the gate. I saw him start to go around the corner of the warehouse. I lost my grip I ran as fast as I could to catch up. I grab my brothers arms before he could get any further. I pull him back.
"slowly."
My brother nods his head. We start to move forward again. This time our footsteps are careful as we creep around the corner to see all the commotion...
She carefully pulled the sheet off her head and looked around. The sun was just about to come up... She had just enough time to do one last crazy thing.
"Oh my it burns!" he yells at the top of his lungs.
"oh shush you big baby." i tell him.
"you don't know how this feels." he whines back.
"well that's what you get for not putting on any sunscreen." i snap back.
His hand is held out to me, I step back. I'm not good at this.
"it's okay."
But it's not, behind him i see the sun star to come up. What the hell. The sun gives me hope. I move forward and take his hand. We walk towards the front of the store. He gives me a "Good luck." wink then left me alone at the counter waiting for a customer on my first day.
I stare at the sky. I watch as the clouds that are spiraling down towards the ground, molding into a tornado. A storm is coming. It's almost sad how i can barely make out the sunlight peaking out through the clouds.
