lapidation
Once my life savings were spent, I didn't know how to navigate my life. From job to job, living off my last few dollars perpetually between my weekly checks. I wasn't sure what was left for me, and I didn't want to know. I had lost hope.
The sky roared with an intensity I couldn't bear. I had never been caught in a storm like this. The rain howled terrible howls, and the thunder roared terrible roars. The sky was dark, and closed all around me as I tried to make my way home.
The teeth from above, biting from the clouds. Razors, falling from the sky, destroying all those who are unfortunate enough to be caught underneath. It's not fair. Life, that is. Just when you are doing well, it's going to hold you down, and bite you repeatedly, until you are dead. It's teeth are sharp.
