I don't have much experience with lanterns. It is 2010, after all. We generally use flashlights these days. But they can be rather pretty, I guess.
When I was little and I was at Atlantic City with my mom, grandmother, and cousin, I fell and scraped my knee. I couldn't stop crying and my grandmother got annoyed, so you popped my balloon, which just made me cry harder. Nice lady.
Are a funny thing. Sometimes we'll just sit and watch something fall and other times we'll instantly reach out and grab the falling object. I've always wondered what triggers us to do or not do that.
Is a strange thing. Are we pre-DESTINED to have our lives a certain way, or do we really get to choose what is going to happen with our lives? Is it even possible to know or tell. I'd say probably not.
