Lilies, dandelions, sunflowers- 'swept' reminds me of all these things just swaying in the breeze, filling the earth with yellow.
My mother and I have never had a relationship until I moved out. And up until I moved out, I felt like I had no control over anything. The only time my mother and I talked was when we were having screaming psychotic fights with one another because I was such a terrible kid. Now we speak all of the time and it's all funny stories and catching up. I can't wait to visit her on Monday.
