Tick Tock... I wait... Tick Tock... The train's not coming... Tick Tock... Where do I go now. I make my way though the dirty, dusty road searching for somewhere else to go. Then I see it. The lights in the distance can belong only to one thing... I run.. Almost there... The train had just pulled in. I'm free.
i saw him from across the room. We run to each other and connect in that warm embrace. He takes in every ounce of me he can get. I never want to let go...
Suddenly I wake from my slumber with a start.
Why do I always have this dream? ...
I walked slowly down the rain soaked sidewalk. Umbrella in hand I turned the corner along the path. I pass many sad tear stained faces, as I make my way to say my final goodbye. As I reach the casket I realize I can't withhold my tears any longer. To my knees I fall as I say my last words to her...
Drip drip drip. She looked at the speckled floor and smiled. Now her room is just the color she'd always wanted. Purple. Now she can be so happy with her purple painted room.
She walked in the store and nearly dropped her things. He offered to help pick them up for her. As he handed her her purse she couldn't help but stare at his shirt. The design was so unique, so intriguing. "What is that" she said. "Oh this? It's just plaid." He said. Hm... plaid...
My hands covered in white as I walk down the hallway. I step outside to clap the erasers. Then back inside I go. The black board is my blank canvas to express who I am. I need to permission or criticism to be who I want to be. Thank you chalkboard, you are my savior.
Sounds fill the room. Where do they come from. Such sounds fulfill my escape. The world is drowned out by the beautiful music. I don't have to think. I can just feel. Pulsing through me, I become whatever I like. My escape.. I'm free.
Prom. Lights. Fun. I think of standing with my arms hanging out of the sunroof yelling "WHOOOO". Cuddling in the backseat feeling like the the most special person in the world. A limo can be a mini escape from a harsh world.
I first think "Elvis Presley" but even he couldn't pull them off. Sideburns are just tacky and gross. It's like a mullet on your face and should just be shaved off. The next time I see a sideburn I want to just say " have you ever seen a razor? "
