Lenore hid between the bookshelves of the library. She didn't want Simon to see her though she was somehow sure that he knew she was there anyway. She tentatively pulled a book from it's dusty resting place on the shelf and peered through to the other side. Dropping the book she gasped and took a step back as Simon's eyes ere locked on hers.
Her thirst for revenge was almost unbarable. It was growing with every moment and it threatened to overwhelm her. Deep down she was afraid that it was beginning to have a life of it's own but she couldn't help it. She'd been able to keep a lid on it for now, but she didn't know how long she could do that, it was begging to destroy her and the world around her.
Simon was detrminded to keep Lenore safe at any cost. She had to be protected even if she didn't know why yet. Though he couldn't exactly just follow her around all the time, she didn't remember him from before so he had to rely on someone else that could get close to her more often then he'd be able to. That's where Olivia came in.
Lenore didn't feel connected to anyone or anything. It felt like she was walking on this Earth completely alone. To add credence to that fact when she slipped and fell on the ice in the school's parking lot no one helped her up. No one even took the time to see if she was alright. Guess the good part of that is that no one laughed either.
The success one feels when taking down their enemy is overwhelming at times. At least it should be. Taking another life is a heavy burden to carry with you for the rest of yours. Yet as a Killjoy Transmission Enemy couldn't let it effect her. Sure her first two years as a Killjoy were difficult, she couldn't look herself in the mirror for a long time but after a while the guilt went away. She reminded herself that she was fighting for good and they were evil people doing things to destroy the Earth.
