The splash hit her out of nowhere. Whipping her head around she saw nothing but began to feel the itching and burning on her skin growing with intensity.
"Whatever corrosive shit this is, I need to go to a hospital" she said to no one as she began to bleed on the sidewalk and fell to the ground.
The way the sun hit the wall across from my apartment shone a light that emphasized the toned faces of weathered people walking past. Everyone pretends not to be watching each other and we pretend not to notice.
