Heart thuds of thunder:
Crackling through my nerves,
Tumbling through my mind.
Yet here I, a passionate woman, peer
Through a glass of fear.
Gone you are with my thunderous heart.
I open mine eyes to the sound of water (two hydrogens bonded to an oxygen) tapping on the window as she lay in my arms, her breathing still that of one sleep, and as lightening whips against a tree in the front lawn, creating a horrendous disturbance, her eyes open and peer at me as her lips curl into a smile.
Lawnchairs unfolded inside a garaje--door ajar-- the light and the following crackle creating a nervous anxiety within the small family of observers. The beautiful light relit the skyline, sculpted a difference between night and day that is day within night. The crackle tore through the bodies once more.
