On the bookshelf
There are an infinite amount of universes
To be discovered by simply opening a story
The world you enter is new each time
The feelings differ on the book
Here I stand, in from of many different worlds
Trying to decide which I will enter
We are connected to one another by an invisible chain, reaching from my heart to yours. I know that these times have been hard, but our connection remains, I still love you. There have been moments that I wish this chain was gone, but I can look at you now and know that it will work.
Strength exists in numbers, in community, as well as in self. Sometimes, it takes a negative event to make us realize the strength within us, and to build ourselves up from it. Strength is something we all possess, though it manifests itself differently to all of us. Strength is what keeps us going, and is what we gain from every negative experience of our lives. We feel strengthened by these experiences, proving that nothing bad occurs without something good.
The universe is made up of innumerable galaxies, but even within a single galaxy, the different worlds that one encounters are infinite. The perspective of one person as opposed to another's, the difference between the terrain of the natural world- all differ significantly. We cannot know everything about even ourselves, making it hard to grasp the multitudinous facets of life.
"He is not to be trusted," was the warning I received earlier in the day. I did not know whom this was concerning at first, though a few hours later he appeared. There was something mysterious about him, something I could not identify. His eyes seemed to fathom deeper thoughts that I was comfortable sharing, but at the same time, I was utterly enchanted
The executive director took a look at the profit graph, sighing. There was no way his company could continue on, taking away the jobs of so many of his employees. This economy is rough, but he did not wish to compromise his workers' lives.
The digital world is a wholly different reality from that of earlier eras. It is a world in which things are seen, but not felt or experienced. There is a significant difference between the days of old, when a person would treasure a book, leafing through it's pages carefully, to the instantaneous transfer of information we experience today.
