Tree trunks falling over my head,
someone even left one of them under my bed.
Protruding through my sheets,
not letting me rest or sleep.
Birds perched on elegant toe,
I just wanted to let you know
The branches scratch my pillowed face,
this stupid tree in my bed has taken your place
