"Help, help, please! Someone!" the woman cried. She sat in middle of the busy street, cradling a boy in her arms. He was a young boy, perhaps only 5 of 6 years old. She pushed back his hair, and said to him, "Come on, honey, come on. This isn't a good time for one of your games." The boy didn't wake.
As she was driving home after work, she recalled the message she received earlier. It had been her husband's voice on the machine, reminding someone of their plans immediately after work that day. And the woman thought to herself, "I thought he was going to be late for a meeting..." With that, she turned the steering wheel, headed for her husband's office.
Afraid. What makes you feel afraid? A spider, a snake? Or maybe it's not even an animal. Maybe you are afraid when someone gets mad at you. Maybe you're afraid when you realize you have to go see your grandparent in the hospital, where they're stuck on a ventilator. Maybe you're afraid when you start life in a new place. So really, what makes you feel afraid?
Trial. I'm watching Criminal Minds right now, which makes me think of trials, because criminals have to go through them. It makes me think about all those types of shows: Law and Order, Bones, CSI, etc. Oh shoot. The commercial is over, but I still have 40 seconds left! Dang. Criminals suck. I wish they wouldn't do bad things. Everyone should just be happy and give lots of hugs.
