Thinking about the future reminded her of the first time she ever saw the ocean. It was too vast.
But when she met him it was like she finally knew her calling.
Anytime she couldn't find him. She knew where to look. Not in the bushes or behind the playground equipment but up. He was a climber, like his dad and always took to the trees.
She raised her eyes and smiled.
"I found you"
He had dimples. Small, barely noticeable dimples tucked far away. The only reason she could even see them was because of the huge smile he had spread across his face.
A huge, smug smile.
That snapped her mind back to the important things – like anger.
"What's your problem?" she snapped.
