Alec rhythmically beat his thumbs on the steering wheel as he waited for the light to change at the intersection. Magnus would not be happy if he was late again.
Alec looked at the little gadget in his hands. "What is it?" He asked aloud, turning the purple thing over once or twice. Magnus replied, giggling a bit, that is was an mp3. It had music on it. If only the Shadowhunter had known what Magnus had put on it...
Magnus thought he could do it; Isabelle knew he had the strength; Clary was always smiling, so who was to know what she thought; and Simon said he was over it and that he should just tell Jace.
He hadn't done it on purpose, it was an honest accident. How was Alec to know that Magnus hated surprises. AND heights. Ugh... He'd messed up BIG, this time...
Alec lived a highly structured life. Everything was always just so. The white couch always spotless; the linoleum always sparkled when the sun hit it; and dinner was always at seven 'o clock on the dot.
Lies, and hate, and hurt, and pain, woven into the very fabric of Alec's being. Magnus had hurt him, and he couldn't do anything about it, but try to forget the sparkly warlock.
Okay, Alec would admit it. He was now, officially, obsessed with strawberries. It was Magnus' fault, though! If he hadn't made him try fondue none of it would have happened. On second though, Aec was happier than ever, because it had happened.
Silk scarves. Imagine the fun he could have with those,,, To see Alec squirm on his bed, tied up and gagged would be good enough, but Magnus didn't think he would be able to stop there.
It wasn't just a simple phrase, it was a statement. The fact that Magnus had said it, out loud, in front of his parents, was a hard one to grasp. Although, to be honest, Alec was more focused on the words, than the meaning. If he focused on the meaning, he would break.
Almost. He had almost asked Magnus. Not quite, but it was closer than before. He had until the next night, so he was alright on time. He just needed courage. That was all.
