Rockets shine and they propel themselves to greatness; they get help from others, in their construction and fuel, but in the end, it's the rocket that makes sure it gets in the air, and once in the air, it is the rocket that sustains itself, takes itself where it needs to go and eventually finds its way back home. Someday I want to have the confidence to be a rocket.
It seems like things keep going on and on and on and on..once one problem ends, another will begin...life seems to be just one big wave of problems and painful emotions, stretching out forever...however, the thing about life is that it's not endless; there is no way to avoid death completely. I'd take that stream of work and play and hardship and experience over an abrupt wall any day, anyway.

Sports, like many things, are a blessing and a curse. They are supposed to teach one about honor, teamwork, integrity...yet at the same time, they're indulging some of the most primeval human tendencies- getting dirty, fighting, becoming almost obsessed about a single goal...sports, like many things, are decidedly human.
If they don't notice, it sucks, sure, but isn't it worse if they notice and do nothing? Cos I mean, at least they were paying attention... I don't know...discuss amongst yourselves.
Happy happy joy joy- is there anything with being optimistic? It's just being realistic, with a little bit of a hope involved. I mean, as long as you know what could go wrong, what's wrong with thinking about what could go right? Smile, kids. Nobody is making you sad, so why not be optimistic?
Closed, like a door. There's the saying, about a closed door opening a window or something? Like how the end is just the beginning of something different, hopefully better.
But then again, closed can mean forever. Dead, gone, never to be opened again. Maybe that makes it all the more important to find that newly opened window.
Cheese flakes make for a great spaghetti dinner.
I made spaghetti at a restaurant today; I made it wrong, and I overfilled the plate, but I still made it: that counts for something, right?
