The lantern usually belongs in the living room. It makes everything bright, and I usually turn it on when I'm reading a book or when I'm on my laptop. In other words, I turn it on when I'm about to go to bed. It usually makes me sleepy and it's very convenient because it's easy to turn it on and off.
