The men readied their horses as Gilmore positioned himself to lead the front lines. He lifted his sword and announced, "Charge!"
"Your such a coward!" She giggled.
It was 3rd grade, and a special guest had arrived. A snake handler. I hated snakes.

"Hey, you dropped something!' I screamed at the man. The crowd between us grew denser as he disappeared. I looked down and realized I just found my lost wallet.
Must focus writing on this subject. Must not get sidetracked. Oh, wait! The subject is sidetracked. Well, would it be ironic if I made an attempt to write about sidetracked yet kept getting too sidetracked to actually write anything about it?
Not a fan of sports. Don't know why. Was too geeky for it. Maybe because I don't like physical exercise. I'm more of a board game type. I do enjoy basketball though. That's exciting to me. Baseball however, boring!
I remember when the morning edition of the newspaper was a regular tradition. You wake up, make some coffee and then read the paper. Today though, you make your instant coffee and boot up your iPad, and read a website. Poor newspapers. At least we're saving trees now, I guess.
Wow. This is a rarity for me. Sure, I've set high standards before. Yet I've always held a belief that perfection is impossible.
I enjoy the act of writing fiction. It is a means to express my feelings without putting a spotlight on them. It's fiction! It's not real, but the inspirations are.
Success is a hard thing for me to write about, as I rarely ever feel the sensation of it. Maybe I'm too self absorbed to allow myself to feel the relief of success. Maybe I'm too depressed.
Life can go either way. It all depends on the route we choose to follow. Looking back, I see the forks in my road where I made various decisions. Do I have any regrets?
