The fangs ripped the the small creature apart. His eyes flashed violently upwards, but there was no threat to be found in me, and so he continued with his quick meal. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. It was savage, and yet so totally inescapable -- realistic. I felt that it was a dream, but it was so alive...
On the soft white sands of the shore, a quiet young girl was found lying quietly. The sun shone on her pale face, and she slowly wriggled her toes deep into the sand.
The bear was simply sitting there. Staring. I couldn't get myself to feel fear. It, too, did not appear afraid, yet the tension was still there; one move and the fear would come crashing down on the both of us.
The sheet was soft blue. It looked like silk the way it flowed so smoothly across the bed. I felt like caressing the soft waves, but when I looked up into the light blue eyes staring down at me, I knew that soon, those soft waves would break into a storm around us.
