As the lawyer made his closing statement, it was clear that the evidence presented proved the innocence of the defendant. He sat and sneered while he listened to the argument that made it impossible for the jury to convict him. That closing statement wrapped up the trial, which allowed a very guilty man to walk free.
Buzzing around a field of color. Sipping nectar from the flowers, pollinating them in return. A busy life for a bug, but at least they get to take some time to stop and smell the roses. Not so bad to bee a bee.
I swept the sweat off my brow as I made my way up the hiking trail. What brought me here to the middle of the woods? I know better than to come here.
