She had a strange belief that one day, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week, but one day, he'd come back and she'd melt into those green eyes.
He would go to great lengths to get her to smile. Just seeing her smile made him happy. There was really no other reason he was hanging upside down from a branch, an open red velvet box in his hands.
He didn't need an answer, her smile was enough of a reply.
"Goodbye,"
She watched as he entered the train, watching him leave, for good this time.
A tear slid down her cheek, "Goodbye, perverted alien."
