That was a trap! The monkey thought there was something odd with the leaves just kind of thickly laid down on the floor. Then when the leaves started to slowly give in, and my whole body started to sink, my last thought was to grab a hold of the ropes that were starting to show on the side of the cage. I knew by now that was a trap.
