One day, the crew was silent. No one said a word. It was time, but none of them wanted to admit it. They stood on the roof of the completed building. It wasn't very crowded; they were experts, and didn't need many people.
"Are you kidding me? This isn't hysterical! You want me to show you hysterical?" Jim's breathing was erratic; cold sweat pured down his face. He looked around for something to throw.
"Ow, that hurt."
"Did it? I'm sorry, these scissors must be getting dull. Hold on." Tom sat in the chair, rubbing his scalp.
"I see. You do not yet know what it means, do you?"
"Excuse me?"
"To be sage takes much more than simply memorizing a series of facts and explanations. It takes something that a only a few people posses."
He started at the sound. The light in his room came on as his wife got out of the bed, Frightened.
"I'm sure it's nothing," John said to reassure her. He got out of bed and went to his closet to grab a bat.
