We held hands and walked down the street. We told stories and laughed at our shortcomings. We fibbed. We Lied. We asked difficult questions. We ended our sentences with exclamation points.
She sang sweetly into his ear. The day, coming to a close, had been a triumphant success for the two of them. Everything had gone according to plan, and the plan was excellent to begin with.
The idea was growing. Taking shape in unexpected ways. Suddenly the experimentation had begun, and he was out to find his voice for this project. The voice that would write this book.
She stormed out of her room, mind racing, feet running. An epic turbulence swarmed around her, she could not pick a direction. Collapsing, to her knees, she began to cry.

It all came down around him. Microscopic bits of this and that swirled and heaved and stewed before him. He had no idea what was going on, really...

This is it, here he is,this is how it will be, it's never going away.
His eyes opened. God, how bright this day would be. He looked around him, and the decision was made. He would leave this place, he was done. It was time to move on to something far greater, far more wonderful. something that matched his new view on everything.
They curled up next to the river. He wondered when they would ever get up. Before dark? After? Then next morning? It was certainly going to be a warm enough night. He looked at her, then the stars. "My God!" he thought "This is the most beautiful thing I can imagine!"
