Their romance wasn't easy. He was always gone for work and she was left home alone to run the little jewelry shop she had opened. She had responsibilities too, and with a baby on the way things had become twice as complicated. She often found herself wonder if maybe, just maybe, they weren't really meant to be. This brought tears to her eyes every time. How could she think something like that.
She leaned back in her seat, stretching her shoulders. The glassy look in her eye told those around her that she was lost deep in thought.
"You look like you're plotting someone's ultimate demise." He muttered from his seat beside her. She blinked, broken from her own trance and smiled.
"In a round about way I am." She said, her grin turning a bit savage. "I'm thinking about getting my weasle fixed." His eyes widened at her statement and he scooted away only causing her to laugh.
"How's it going Chief?" A voice called. I glanced over my shoulder and squinted against the bright, afternoon sun. Chaz was walking toward me, hat under his arm, cane swinging back and forth. I rolled my eyes at his care-free, cat like ways.
"Don't call me that."
The word epic didn't even begin to describe Angel. She was the embodiment of power, the very person that no one wanted to fuck with because she could kick your ass. She didn't deal with anyone's shit. In fact, she was everyone's idol. All the guys wanted her. All the girls wanted to be her. But then, who wouldn't? Her snowy white hair and amber eyes were just a beginning to her beauty.
She grabbed him by the collar and pushed him against the wall. His eyes were round with surprise as he stared into her liquid silver irises.
"What...what are you doing?" He questioned breathlessly.
"You're not the only one who can be forceful." She said before kissing him. He couldn't help but chuckle. The sudden turn of events was quite thrilling.
His love for her was nearly impossible for her to obtain, like honey from a beehive. She had tried many things, and she had failed yet again. She knew he would never see her as more than a 'play thing', because that's all she was to him...while he was with others.
Was it wrong for her to like the attention, even if she got it for the wrong reason?
