9PM early April, 1986. I stepped off of the plane and onto the sweaty tarmac at Don Muang International Airport in Bangkok. I had arrived.

i arrived at a bank….there was a dark cloud in the sjy and i had a bad feeling deep in my gut. this wasn’t right. i approached the great big doors and stumbled in, sure that everyone around me knew what i was up to.

We arrived in the airport around 5, and in the subway we saw a violinist playing a beautiful concerto. I always look at how amazing some people are, even without money, but I never reach a hand out to them or help them out. I just like to see the beauty, and then walk past them back to my life. It’s hard to stop going somewhere.

The time has. And it’s not going anywhere. With all of the shit getting thrown around these days concerning this or that political movement and the protests associated with it. There is absolutely no way that anyone can be expected to participate in all the unruly life affirming activism. But dammit some people will try.

I just arrived here at the library and decided to write my essay. I wrote it pretty quickly because it was an easy topic for me. I am done now and am using stumble upon to waste time while I wait for my friends to be done studying.

I have finally arrived at my retirement years and I must say, I would prefer not to have done that. I loved being busy and working. However, I feel very fortunate to have good health and love of a wonderful husband and family.

Flying into the airport after eight hours of flying is always a relief. I love to look down at the city i am about to explore and experience. I love observing the city operating from a distance as people go about their business.

I arrived in the city, quiet flabergasted by the inefficiencies within it. That girl, she swung her hips from side to side as she walked with such vehement passion that I thought her waist would actually break from her body. Totally inefficent, there was no need. The boys were looking anyway, was there any point to have them panting in desire as she walked? I felt no cvountry girl would ever strut in that manner; it was almost grotesque.

I have arrived into this world a boy who has no idea why he has here. We arrive without any consent, and we likewise leave without any consent. Our arrival marks the beginning of our journey through life which consists of constant lessons and new experiences with each day.

He arrived late in the afternoon, as the sun was setting behind the trees. Long, sad shadows crept toward the dusty front porch. This house was dead. The feeling of home was no longer there for him. His heavy footsteps caused the old planks to creek as he moved across the porch to the front door.

I have arrived at that point in the evening where my mind would like to shut down. It’s just too hard to think now. I will need to be up early tomorrow so it is good to shut down now.

Here we are, we have landed. Everything looks so large and new. Too many thoughts to process. Where to go, who to talk to…time is our only barrier. We can do anything now that we have arrived

I arrived at his door step and smiled deeply at his attire. “Must you wear that? Were just going out to eat.” He just gave a nod, fixing his suit and I felt so underdressed.

I had finally arrived to my destination. The water was clear and the palm trees swayed in the warm breeze.

The package had arrived. I grinned, ripping open the paper with gusto. Nothing inside that the eye couold detect, but that was the beauty of the entire setup; if you couldn’t see magic, you couldn’t see this, and if you couldn’t see this, you couldn’t see magic. Only those who needed to see me could.

The word arrived makes me think of a party. The guest list is overflowing and the main person has just arrived. Beautifully decked out in the latest fashions.

we have all arrived
in a place which is so different
from where we once were
the little town where our feet
stayed on the ground
and our hearts
stayed in our chests
this new atmosphere
has tenticles swiveling
through our noses,
and our eyelids have movies
painted over the insides
we can breathe music
and love is like electricity
this place is maddening
but freeing, all the same.

He glanced at his watch once again, having to shield it with his hand to keep the rain from totally drenching it. He’d been standing on the corner for nearly ten minutes, and no matter how many times he tried, none of the taxis would stop for him. Yet another cab whizzed by, and it took all of his self control to not chase it down like a lunatic. As though the driver sensed his thinking, he pulled over to the side of the street.
“Want to share one?” A voice from behind him asked. He turned to see a woman sheilding herself from the rain with a bag, with he hand still in the air from hailing the cab. She looked as though she had just arrived, because she wasn’t completely drenched. He smiled gratfully and the two headed toward the cap.

When Luffy arrived, he quickly ran to his locker. He tried the latch, but it was stuck. Kicking the base violently, Luffy grabbed it with both hands and pulling it open. He stuffed his bag in and grabbed his text before running off down the hall. He was already late, and his first period teacher locked the door after five minutes of class. He could still make it.

i went to my girlfriends house but she hates me because i broke her heart. terrible style wouldn’t you say? invariably one of the worst decisions, arriving at such a rapid-fire conclusion. she hates me, her friends hate me, and i very often hate myself for it. but then again, freedom is nice.

i arrived at the train station with my luggage. it was a quarter to two. i knew i was going to miss the train even as i ran down the steps and passed the old man on the corner singing “Love Me Do.” i pushed on further, past the old woman feeding the pigeons under the awning, past the little girl with her lollipop stuck in her hair, all the way to the end of the platform. i gasped for breath as the train slowly continued on in the distance and disappeared into a blur of nothingness. i turned and contemplated my options: i could go back to my life and continue on blindly, or trow my self off the platform and onto the tracks.
i chose the latter.

I used to believe that my faith in god guaranteed my future, and perhaps it did. I thought I was destined for something. Now that I’ve lost it, I feel adrift and alone. What now? What can I do? What hope do I have?

i sat and watched his car slowly pull up into the drive way; i had never been so anxious. as the doors opened, i watched him slowly slip out of the car. it wasn’t until that moment that it totally hit me- he had finally arrived home.
