  5. i am pleading, i am pounding on your door. Bread is all I need, for a friend has come unannounced and we need to eat. Please get up and bring me a loaf of bread. I know you and your wife and children are already asleep, but this is a dear friend whom i haven’t seen in so many years, and i need something to give him for food. I am pounding, i am asking…I seek a way to give my friend what he needs. You have what he needs. I am not going to stop asking.

  6. asking a question is a lot more than wanting to know something a=or a branch or your curiosity. it’s a beautiful thing actually because it is the biggest emphasis of your interest and respect. The teacher gets no bigger satisfaction in a classroom then when a child show s interest and respect. It is truly sad not every question is asked, for it is an opportunity on so many levels

  7. Is it really that hard what I am asking you? It’s not like I want to get married here. Really, I just want to know that you’re not going to go out and fool around with other girls. I can’t make myself voulnerable to you, then know you are saying that same thing to others… It just doesn’t work that way for me.

  8. Overall each time we ask something often we end up with another thing. The problem isn’t that we never get what we want, but rather that by asking we are also assuming that what we desire is what we need.
Or maybe I’m entirely wrong. Maybe asking isn’t such a weird thing.

  13. Stop asking, she told the cat.
The cat persisted, and continued to ask.
They lived for a year, 365 days, just the two of them
The girl and the cat who kept asking and the girl who kept ignoring the cat.
Sometimes it annoyed the girl how the cat keeps asking. And sometimes it annoyed the cat how the girl never replies.

  21. The art of ASking… The art of Curiosity… I call it an art because its an ability that so many of us lose too early in life. The curiosity of the child is squashed, and the later nails in the coffin are struck by a banal educational system

Ask. Because its ok. Its the only way to know. And knowledge is power. Ask. and you shall get.

    Ajay Ravindran
  22. to ask is to inquire about something one doesn’t know about. the act of asking very often requires humility and a polite demeanour. When you ask, you shall receive is what the bible says. 30. Asking, frowned upon in the modern world, demands action of someone. To ask is to make of oneself weak, ignorant, foolish, yet is necessary to gain strength, knowledge, and wisdom. Asking requires more finesse than demanding, more forthrightness than simply hinting, and a nobility of character to risk much in return for possible rejection and denial.

    Victor Wright
  31. What are you asking? Too much, that’s for sure. Each and every day, (what, are you going to ask me to eliminate redundancy?) I have to deal with these lazy, indolent imbeciles such a myself that waste their lives by eating fritos, chewing chili, and basking in the hot Texas sun. Go free your slaves! I have nothing but haughty indignation for the foul soul of an imbecile!

    Shane

  36. when you ask someone about something the usually give you an answer. maybe even they could ask you something and leave it as a statement instead of a question, leaving the person being asked… stunned and a bit confused. this is funny to some people, which i really do not understand why. Why ask? i am asking right now by asking that question to you. everyone should just stop asking and starting doing. just doing whatever without asking anything

Teachers would always say, “Stupid questions don’t exist, so just ask,” but I never felt like they would find my questions meaningful or intelligent in the least.
