  1. The balcony… hahahah, so… unstable. I thought it was safe, I really did… TRULY… but I feel, like any person weighing over 50 pounds would… I fell and I fell… I wish I could tell you it was a remarkable experience and I fell through a never-ending void, derived of rhyme or reason… but alas I simply fell through… and broke my shins.

  2. Staring out into sun set,
only the horizon reminds me how far apart we really are. And no matter how much I try to reach you, I can get no closer.

Eventually the sun will set and fall into to the ocean, like every night, I still get into bed & fall asleep with you.

  3. it was late and dark at night once she jumped off the balcony. it seemed like the only escape she ever had. too bad there was a trampoline beneath said balcony and she was training for clown school.

  5. the balcony is higher than the rest of the house. its a great place to do things outside without actually being outside. you can look at the stars and kiss your lover in the rain on a balcony, while still retaining a sense of privacy. balconies are great. yes they are.

  6. I stood on the balcony watching the stars light the night like fireworks. It was summer and the moon was in full view, so close I thought I could reach out and touch it. I wondered how long it would be as the dew began to slolwy pepper the grass and the breeze kicked up ever gently.

  7. Lovely plants and a view of the sea, I can smell the salt in the air and see the distant sailboats headed back to port. I love basking in my balocony.

  8. The balcony overlooked the city from the highest point besides the top of the cliffs themselves. It was breathtaking; truly it was no wonder anymore with he always cloistered himself up there.

  11. A small sometimes concrete outcrop from a building. A great place to watch the world below go by. A great place in European winters to place food for cold storage. A beautiful place to put plants-an extension to your house

  12. I wish I had the apartment in front of me so I coudl have that beautiful balcony to sit on when the weather is perfect outside. I tried to get that apartment, but the landlord is an idiot and cannot see a good thing when up his nose.

  15. I am on the first floor, but I remember a balcony from a few days back. I remember standing and watching flowers burst out and the rain shake the leaves and holding, holding, holding on. I remember kissing, I remember drunk girls underneath calling up at us. “Stop fucking on the balcony.” Of course.

  16. The table was full of empties. The sun was rising the same place it had the day before. Twenty stories up could’ve been a cabin in the woods; I could’ve been stark naked and proclaiming my love for Budism and I doubt even a crow would’ve looked up. So many people packed into such a small space, living like tourists, yet I felt like the only person in the world. I’d just finished a conversation with a girl I’d met a few days ago and probably wouldn’t see ever again. We’d decided an early morning swim was in order, so she was getting ready. It was hard to think that in a few hours time the streets below would be so full of traffic. Sometimes I felt like early morning was the most wasted part of the day. Othertimes I felt it was the most useless. I could never decide.

  17. I once had the views in my sight, the plethora of landscaping options from where I stood. That picaresque view is gone now.

  19. My favorite scene in Romeo and Juliet is The Balcony Scene, where Romeo comes out of the scented bushes and declares his love. And then Juliet, startled, pulls out a rocket-propelled grenade and fires into the darkness. Then, after the blast, she finds a shred of his tights and mouths “Whoa!”

  20. I’m on a balcony right now. I can hear people talking below me, and sometimes they sing. Being on a balcony is really fun; I enjoy being far above the ground. Balconies have a stigma, though, due to Romeo and Juliet’s little fling with them.

  21. I have been leaning against this balcony for about an hour now. There is a film of salt on my top lip from stress and indecision. I can’t imagine the fall, but I can’t imagine going back in. Terror is a balcony and a unmade mind.
This is true fear, dear friends. I loved you all.

  22. I love mia so much i sometimes think my heart will explode.love heeeeeeeeeeer.i’m an atheist but this is like i don’t konw…divine.for fuckin jesus christ!

  23. There was no balcony in Romeo and Juliet. Upon learning this, I felt like all my preconceptions about love just shattered.

People have often said I am somewhat like Juliet in relationships. Always picking the people who I can’t have a future with. Not exactly forbidden love, but a self-sabotaging type.

    Whatever. Suits me just fine.

  24. She crept out onto the balcony, tip-toeing so not to wake him. She took a sip of her drink, dark rum with just a chink of ice, swirling the ice around the glass and wondered how much longer they could carry on.

  25. I was there, alone… standing on my girlfriend’s balcony. She had given me a smile, and a knowing flip of her hair moments before. I was there…alone, but not for long. The stars and night sky unfloded like a grand show. Life was very good indeed.

  27. a place in which you stand on. often looks over a landscape. in cities they are used to give you a view of the road or as a place to eat.

  28. The balcony was three stories high, hanging above a swimming pool. What a perfect oppritunity. Layla climbed up onto the railing and tested its sturdiness. This was going to be fun.
Layla closed her eyes and stepped off the railing of the balcony, into thin air. She heard a group of girls that were standing at the pool scream right before she hit the water.

  29. One time i was i had a dream tha i was hanging over a balcony. It was about 20feet above ground and i was about 2. Im not sure of it was a dream or not though. My cousins pulled me back to safety but the balcony i dreamed about, w raly did have.

  31. Balconies like a gateway to the sky that none of us can reach, and I’ll state out across this beautiful world stretching away from my fingers. Where I stand is the only pedestal that does not exist. The world warps around my space in the world, creating an individual perspective.

  32. As I stood on the balcony, watching that pretty lady passing by, I couldn’t but wonder, when would come the time when we sit together, eat breakfast, or share jokes.

  33. I have never had, but always wanted a balcony. The closest thing to it was the fire escape I had in Brooklyn which was definitely used, but, by no stretch of the imagination a balcony.

    NancyCz
  34. The balcony looked into a dark courtyard and for this reason the apartment had not been sold before. He found the place ideal, the perfect spot to summon demons and other darkness lurkers.

    Nathalie (Spacedlaw)
  35. i have never had a balcony. Ever. I even live in an apartment now, and it has no balcony. I feel really robbed. I plan on getting a house next.. and most likely it will not have a balcony either. My only hope is that I make some money after college and I can actually purchase my own house. idk.. it could have a balcony. That would be sweet. I’d probably smoke weed on it.

  36. Jump. He landed softly and continued running through the grass. the night air brushed him briskly and reminded him just how good it felt to actually be outside after so long. a low rail, easily avoided as he jumped over it and kept moving.
“Too long,” he said, “it has been much too long.”
Parkour, as they call it, was the name of his game.

  38. I stood on the 5th story balcony waiting for a strong current to push me over, it wasn’t that I lacked the ability to jump, just the determination.

  39. i think of spanish balconies and zorro riding past them and spanish women waving handkerchiefs at him. i also think of my cousin flying a kite and having a kite fight with his neighbours. i also think of suicide.

  40. I stare from the balcony at my amusing friend. She is more than a friend, she is who I hope to be my girlfriend, soon. She and I both love each other very much, but we are afraid to go out because of distance relationships, but i think we’re going to make it official soon. From this balcony I dream about the life we may lead, and i can only smile at how we love each other so much. I’m very excited by her sexy scandalous body.
