  7. I find my lip balm in my left jacket pocket. The fiberglass kills me. But there’s always that satisfaction of knowing you’ll always need something. I put it on my lips, looking at you the whole time. You look at me and smile. I know just what you’re thinking. You kill me. But there’s always that satisfaction of knowing you’ll always need something.

  8. I use lip balm when my lips are chapped. The balm has something in it that just helps to rejuvenate my lips. It feels all weird, and sometimes can taste weird if I accidentally taste it, but it’s worth it in the end I guess. It’s a very helpful thing despite the disadvantages.

  10. balm… balmy… it is the word that offers the thought of comfort and solice… and also an anti-something. a balm is only there to serve as a protection from something else. it also offers the idea of lush and tropical. a nice thought.

  22. The balmy day was beautiful, but it wasn’t balm, which is what this requires. A balm is usually like an ointment, or a lotion, but I don’t really know, and I don’t really have the time to go and look it up, so you’ll just have to deal with it. The balm was nice, and it smelled of strawberry, just like my lip balm, Hey, that is a balm, of a sort!

  23. Why did I get the word balm? What the crap am I supposed to write about the word balm?

  34. The lip balm soothed the dry and puckered skin, soaking in and rejuvenating the dead cells. It was healthier than simply picking it all away. I bit my bottom lip anyway, chafing my teeth against it until all that was left was a soft surface.
