Bamboo slippers clipping clopping on the verandah heralded the bringing of teas – and I hated tea, so every morning I tipped it out of my window, and it was killing the bamboo plant

koala bears, what other animal do you think of? pandas. what of them? extinct? soon. maybe. they also make very very painful objects, indeed.

I like bamboo because pandas like bamboo. I think pandas like bamboo. When I think of bamboo I think of pandas, whether or not thats even true is beyond me. I think that a bamboo mat would be cool to sit on. But if I had a bamboo mat then a panda would find me and then no one wins. No one wants to get mauled by a panda.

Beyond the chartreuse lake, inside the bamboo forest, up the banana tree, Chimpper sat with his binoculars looking out to sea.

The bamboo forest was deep and light, a floral smell floating on the air like dust in the filtered sun. She stood there, lost, and wondered where he was. It had been days, maybe months, and she still loved him. The leaves rustled a sweet lullaby.

I should never have gone into that club. It wasn’t my scene, not my type of people, but she had mentioned that she might be going there after work. Like an idiot, I went. Now I’m standing hear, beside this fake bamboo, alone.

Bamboo. Strange word. Stranger plant. Eaten mostly by pandas. My friend Garrett looks like a panda. A lot. Kinda cuddly. Gets drunk. Do pandas get drunk? Fights everybody. Pandas seem fierce. Wets himself occasionally. Oh wait. That’s rob. Vomits everywhere. A panda vomiting everywhere would be awesome. Instead, they just sneeze

I wish I could have a house made up of bamboo. It is truly beautiful. Pandas are crazy about them. There are some in El Yunque, Puerto Rico, where I currently reside. I love them.

Bamboo is a material used to make knitting needles and such. It also makes chop sticks, which are easy to turn into knitting needles if you’ve got a pencil sharpener and a little patience. They make excellent double pointed needles, about a size 8 is us measurements. Bamboo is a grass. Weird really. Feels like wood.

i hate this word. i hate this word because it reminds me of you. it reminds me of lying in your bed during the summer, with the window open and the sweet air sifting in. it reminds of that time that you held my hand in your sleep. it reminds me of all the times that we had and all the times that we’ll never have because now you’re not here with me, where i want you to be.

The bamboo shoots stood out in stark contrast from the green hills. Movement in the bushes alerted her to the fact she was not alone out there. She froze, waiting and watching, then stood back to realize the movement was a panda. A rare panda, muching happily away at the bamboo.

Her bed was lumpy, the corner dark. The battered bamboo divider hid her crouched body from the dark spectre that had just emerged from the covers. He was in the kitchen now, brooding. She wept.

The green stalk of patience and serenity awaits nothing, wants for nothing. It does not tremble in the wind, but rather stands strong in the face of adversity.

I remember looking at tall bamboo plants in Panama. You would think they would be soft, maleable and welcoming based on their connotation in the united states and relation to yoga and earthly things. But they are hard and harsh and thick and unforgiving. Not a peaceful place to play. Funny how we interpret things.

There is a lavish green jungle flush with wildlife and reassuring peace all around. The bamboo sticks out from the ground and grows high into the treetops where pandas feast on a hearty meal. It’s structure allows stability and reassurance to the jungle beasts below.

bamboo is what the koalas eat. it is used to make a variety of furniture and other things. like the poles they use to hold those candles which keep the flames away. I never really liked bamboo. It’s kinda weird. Same thing with whicker things. I don’t know, it just always was weird.

The bamboo stalks stood row by row and line by line. Each as tall and straight as a soldier. “Sir!” said one. Each responded as a soldier was until it was their time in battle with fluffy and lethal bears.

holy shit those pandas gotta eat a lot of this to survive and then never reproduce in captivity where they can’t get it up because we’re always watching them which makes them so insecure they feel like going to eat.

Those bamboo scewers were too thick. And Mattsson seriously thought we could cut them with exacto knives! What a joke that was! But I knew my sculpture was by far the best because it was sculpted in the round. Thank god I got an A.
