They will be having lunch eating their salads and sandwiches and sipping their lemonade when a innocent harmless insect called a bee flies by and causes all hell to break loose. Screaming and squealing from the female customers at a cafe.

  13. Bees are hard working creatures. They work in hives, and dedicate their whole lives to their colonies. They show an enormous amount of instinctual drive, dedication, and loyalty. They are also becoming extinct. Large masses of bees have been disappearing, out of no where. This is troublesome because they are a crucial part of the ecosystem.

  17. I have a huge fear of bee’s once when I was young I attended summer camp. I ended up accidently stepping on an under grown bees nest and was stung over 250 times. I now have a huge phobia in which I dont believe I will ever get over.

I guess on the bight side bees make good honey.

  18. Clarisse wasn’t particularly familiar with the bug (the insect, the creature? She couldn’t even label the thing properly), but familiarity wasn’t a problem for the bee. It hovered over her skin, and caressed her neck. That one fatal sting, a bite, and Clarisse was dead.

  19. Bees are kind of scary creatures. Ive always been afraid of them, even though Im not allerigic and in reality there a million things that hurt worse than a silly bee sting. Why are most people, including me, so terrified of them then?

  23. i’ve never been stung by a bee. i always thought it would hurt very badly and it’s one of my biggest fears well not really…. i have a lot of fears. when i was in hawaii my dad stepped on one and it hurt him, but not as much as it hurt the bee… it’s a pretty sad existence when self defense ends up killing you… poor bee… i think we should take our ability for self defense not for granted… does that make sense? no punctuation oh well poor bees how long do i get for this? pretty purple at the bottom

  25. It felt good, to lash out like that, at least, at first it did. I felt smug, powerful, on top of the world. But slowly it began to eat at me, the guilt, the feeling that I had done something wrong, that I had gone too far. This must be what it feels like for a bee, I thought, after they’ve stung something, only to have their guts ripped out, fated to die a slow, agonizing death. It was awful, and I was dying inside.

  26. Spelling is clearly a lost art. In days gone by, we competed to see whose mastery of the English language’s irrational nuances was greater. Now we simply use spell-check. The spelling bee is dead. Long live the little red line.

  27. If I were a bee I would go from flower to flower enjoying each sensation it offers. Painted black and yellow many see me as scary but I promise I will cause no harm if you try to bring me to a place where their is happiness. No hitting or swatting, those scare me and my stinger my sting, but I promise I don’t mean to be hurtful

  32. Bee’s are hardworking insects who are split up into different groups. There are those who gather nectar, those who turn the nectar into honey and those who take care of the larvae. There is only one queen and she is to give birth to new bees. The males’ job is only to mate with the queen bee and those who do so die in the process. Bee’s make honey for themselves to last through the winter.

    Kim

    Gary Cooke
  34. it follows the flowers like a missionary. spreading the word. spreading its legs. metaphorically. once when I was young I was eating a cupcake and a bee was too and then I was eating a bee eating a cupcake and with its last wish it stung me.

  36. Bees. Bees should not be able to fly. But they do it. You know why? Because they don’t let anyone define their limits for them. And neither should I. And neither should you.
I’m through. I know my limits, but I’m not letting anyone else tell me what they are. I’m going to expand them and have fun while I’m doing it.
I’m going to be a bee.

    Mia

  39. Just do as the bees do and just be.
Do as the butterflies do and just be free.
Do as the dolphins do and just swim in the sea.
Do as the monkeys do and just climb a tree.
Do all of this and you’ll be as happy as me.

  40. Bee’s are such a small thing that people are so afraid of. If an insect that is so small and insignificant can scare people so badly, what does that say for our bigger fears?
