  1. It was another spring day one where the flowers bloomed and around them the bees did buzz. An amber coated dream that brings back such kind memories of yesteryear I often find myself sitting in silence just soaking them in. It was also there, I happened to see him, and all his splendor.

  14. Bees. They always tell you to not move. My theory is you shouldn’t be scared of me. Be smooth. I was stung by a bee. I wasn’t moving. I was scared though, and I was 7 years old. She knew it. My ear lobe felt it.

  15. My best friend is allergic to them. She says that if they ever stung her and she didn’t have her epi-pen, she would die. I think about that sometimes, and sometimes it sounds a bit funny. Something so little can do something so big. Hm, puts things into perspective. If a bee can do it, so can you (just don’t kill people.)

  21. the bumblebee came with it’s stinger ready, aimed and poised to inject it’s venom. I ran, knowing that it would be attracted to the bright yellow shirt that I had worn. I was unaware that it was both falling, and was only a dead insect that my uncle was throwing at me from behind the bush. I realized this after I went inside for a drink.

  26. Bees are flying all around her, sprinkling the summer winds with fuzzy yellow and black shadows. Their humming drones out the noises outside, until she hears nothing but the incessant hammering of her own heart.

  32. I was sitting in a field when I noticed the bee. It flew from flower to flower. It saw the flower to intimately. And it relied on the flower to continue on with its task.

The bee reminded me of you. Of how you see me so close up and how you seem to need me to continue on with your task.

It must make the flower feel so good to be needed.
