  4. My favorite kinds of benches are stone ones. Benches made from wood can get scratchy or leave splinters in your hands, but stone benches are cool and inviting. I always get the urge to lie down on my back and read a book whenever I see a stone bench, which never happens when I see a wooden one.

  7. A place to sit on in a park or inside a building. Looking at other people who may pass by. As you look at the people you look at yourself. The bench can be a good place to think about your own life and past accomplishments.

  11. a thing to sit on and ponder your own life. or to rest up. or even to just sleep if your wife kicked you out or your life just kind of sucks. it is a good place to think and relax. unless its a very uncomfortable bench. but it really comes down to which kind of bench it is. the good ones are the ones that make you comfortable.

  16. We have benches all over campus. They are black and made of metal. The look, seems like they are al systematic, a part of an indoctrination process. There’s a feeling that they are there, but not meant to be sat on.

  17. you can sit on them and they are wooden and they can be comfortable but aren’t usually :P i think they should be use more often and they are good for romantic gestures .

  33. we have a bench in our garden from there we can see for hundreds of miles right into umbria. its probably one of the most beautiful views in the world. it was one of the reasons we bought our house in tuscany. we are even above the mist and it sometimes seems like its the view from an airplane.

They come in a million different colors like blue, white, black, brown, gray. Some are even made out of stone. Benches are mostly seen in public places.

No one, she sighed defeatedly. The only thing she could do was grab these scattered affections whenever she could, even if she couldn’t give anything in return.

  37. people like to sit on benches, especially when they are situated in parks. Sometimes bench can be used in relation to weightlifting, also known as a bench press. Or during sports a player can be benched when they are being penalized.

I noticed a little child playing in the distance and the old man seemed to be paying quite some attention to her. He was smoking a pipe much like the one my father would smoke and I thought about my childhood when I smelled that pipe tobacco.

  40. one time i sat on a bench at the park and i got my ass all wet. dont you hate when that happens? i was looking on the internet and found out rolling benches exsist. ehy dont they make those a law everywhere? i could use a rolling bench on those days when i go on a walk on the bike path and ened a bretaher or need to tie my shoes. but then i wonder, willthe underside be ridden with bugs?
