One time I saw these birdhouses in Anthropolgie and I wanted to recreate them. They were covered in recycled coke cans and newspapers. They looked cool. I want to make a mobile and hang it in my room. It should be great. I’m excited. It’ll make me look trendy.

We built a birdhouse for barn swallows so that they would stop taking up residence in our garage. But, instead of barn swallows (who look like miniature stealth bombers) we get giant robins nesting there.

My father, a master carpenter, could build most anything. He was a Michealangelo of Wood. He once taught my son to build a birdhouse, but apparently it wasn’t “difficult” enough or challenging enough, because it was the worst thing I had ever seen him craft. Hmmm…like the virtuoso who could play most classic music on a piano but when asked to play a single note, he did it sloppily and without panache.

there is a birdhouse in my backyard. it has lots of birds in it. they lay eggs in there and then little birdies hatch and then there’s more birds. i like looking at bird houses because it calms me. the sound of birds in the birdhouse helps me fall asleep at night. i love birdhouses. my birdhouse is yellow and i made it myself. it was fun to make and i will always remember it as my very own birdhouse.

bird houses are beautiful they are a nice home for birds abd they are comfortable, i love birdhouses they remind me of summer, and they can be filled with bird seeds for the birds

the birtdhouse is green and the color is a relflectant on the ground it sits on. I would say the world revolves around this color, or maybe the birdhouse given that the color represents the heart chackra and my life is filled with it I think if I could live a million years I would build my own birdhouse

birdhouse is wooden and don’t no birds ever come to visit it. but i will still put the feed in the box and see if they at least flew by to poop in my offering. oh, where are the birds.

My dad has always loved birds. Watching, listening, observing, and feeding all birds alike. So, today while Ky and I were puttering through the dollar store looking for Christmas Gifts, my eyes widened at the sight of a darling little wood birdhouse that would be fill my dads Christmas with delight. What to do next? The present was essentially suppose to come from Ky, and if I suggested it she would mostly likely smile and say, “No Thanks.” and move along. So, instead I was clever and sly like a real contritor of Alias, I casually stopped, peered over her at the dangling miniture house with a hole just the right size for a small sparrow, and just touched it with one finger. That was enough to set the idea in motion. From there Ky took interest.

He worked all day long. He carved the designs himself, he figured out how to put it all together and, when he went to buy some food, he also stopped to pick up some paint. He was never very good with colors, so he asked the girl who worked at the paint shop to help him. He happened to have the sketches on him, and she was very helpful.
Now, whenever Sam’s mom cleans up his room, she sees the birdhouse hanging on the tree outside the young man’s window.

my mom loves a nice birdhouse. Whenever we go to craft fairs she always is enamored by the choices of birdhouses available. I think everyone should have at least 2 birdhouses in their yards. Just think about it, how would you feel if you were stranded and there were no rest stops for you to pull over and rest or relax. That’s what a birdhouse could do for some poor tired bird that wanted to take a break and had no energy left to make it to a safe place away from predators. How good would you feel if you knew that the tiny little birdhouse you put in your yard was the difference between life or death for some young mother bird…nice huh?

WHat am I to write about birdhouses? They are good for keeping birds from the weather. Its nice to have a home and I’m sure birds appreciate it. They can eat and make babies and when they have children they can keep them safe from harm. Thanks for this experience.

The birdhouse was a long way up, and she couldn’t reach it simply by jumping. She started to climb the pole, inching her body bit by bit. However, as she moved up the pole, so did the birdhouse. As she climbed faster, so did the birdhouse. “Hm,” she thought, “at this rate I’ll never make it home for supper.”

I wish I knew how to take care of birdhouse. After all, my NAME is that of a little birdy! I learned to like my name.
Robin
The birdhouse was small and dainty, seemingly part of the forest. The wood had grown mossy over many years of sitting in the damp shade. Contrary to its name, no bird have ever claimed the mini-bungalow to be its house. Apparently birds liked their homes to be sunny…
Raelyn
The birdhouse crashed to the ground with the rest of the burning buildings. The flames drown out the screaming children and most of the firefighters, but somehow the shrieking of those damned baby birds still cut through the air.

A sweet birdhouse in a little yard, hung by a string from a dying tree. Wuth death surrounding this little house. From the dead dog at the bottom of the tree to the voutures fly in circles. There is life in the birdhouse. There is light and life surrounding and there is nothing that can let the little birds in the little yellow wooden birdhouse stop there sweet lullaby like songs.

The birdhouse contained no birds. Instead it was filled with jelly beans. Earl always had nothing to do on Saturdays, so he would torment the birds. But little did he know, that the jelly beans he was oh-so-allergic to were waiting…to strike.

Birdhouse, being a metaphor for a place
where only certain people with
certain qualities may go.
Maybe it’s a job,
maybe it’s a life,
or maybe it’s a person that is wanted
romantically.
But none the less, there are those ground dwellers
who would rather just give the middle finger
to the bird house and keep on walkin.

My father loves to feed birds, but has no birdhouses in his yard. I’ve never proposed the idea of a birdhouse to him. He seems satisfied with feeding birds from feeders. It is a really bright spot for him in his retirement.

built by my grandfather. the birdhouse sits. birds used to live in it. now they fly by it. living in more expensive birdhouses with dining rooms with chandaliers above the table. jacuzzis and baby birds that always ask for money. now my grandfather’s birdhouse just sits.

Well, I wanted to host some friendly birds, and I did it! I read a DIY guide on Instuctables for making a birdhouse, grabbed my tools, and finished it! It was fantastic, my wife’s excited!
Peter
it’s usually used to keep really small birds for domestic uses. I’ve always wondered whether the birds feel too cooped up in such an environment when they have the potential to fly so far and wide.

there aren’t that many birdhouses where I live. I’m not the biggest fan of birdhouses, but I really don’t have anything against them. End scene.

It was made of scrappy, torn pine leftovers from my grandfather’s workshop. Back in the years when he was vibrant and jolly, saw in hand, my grandfather whittled and chiseled days away, making things from wood. Now, all I could do was hammer rusty nails in place like a child.

she went to the top of the tree to check out her birdhouse. it had taken her ages to convince dad to make it for her… and then to explain why it should be high up in the jasmine tree and not on a post in the backyard.
as she got closer, she could hear the soft chirping of the mother sparrow… smiling she knew that another family was comfortable and safe.

I saw a birdhouse on the top of the tree. It had a blue bird in it. Colorful birdhouses are found anywhere but here. Tweety lives in a birdhouse, right? Why do birds need a birdhouse?

Yuuri though it’d be a good family project to do with Wolfram and Greta, but found out that a birdhouse was more work then it was worth.
