  39. The cherry rt4rees were full of late spring blossom falling gently whenever the wind blew in from the steppes. The carpet of pink created by the petals was soft and shifted as soon as she put her foot forward to take another step. If only it were always like this she thought – so peaceful and quiet and pretty.
