  16. Not just a happy, pretty flower.
The word blossom is also a verb.

“She’s blossoming into adulthood.” They say.
Well, when blossoming is a verb, it’s unrelated to that happy, pretty flower.

    Us teenagers, we’re all blossoming.
    Some into happy, pretty flowers,
some into lazy, hunched over flowers,
but the tallest, best-looking flowers are the special ones.

Those flowers are the tallest because they hogged all the soil, water, and sunlight to reach the top.

All the rest of the flowers can do is look up, and in winter, die out without a trace.

In spring, the new take over, and look up at the tall ones, leaves green with envy.

You don’t always have to know how to handle them or deal with them. They might come naturally to you.
