I miss travelling across borders. I have friends across the world across borders. Humans aren’t truly the same.

It wasn’t as if I wanted to separate you from me as if we were land masses. But the borders were drawn, and the kings had been crowned. Now, war was imminent. I had a sword, and you had a bow and arrows. Who would fall first on the battlefield, and who would wee profusely for said fallen?
Our kingdoms were nothing but imaginary. In the end, I wanted your bed, and you wanted my body. And you wanted my bed, and I wanted your body.

Walls. Being kept out. Secrets. Crossing a border into something new, a new world. Maybe you can’t cross–trapped behind a wall that isn’t even real. A line in the sand, but you can’t cross it, just because somebody says you can’t. Does it frustrate you. Did you ever stop to wonder if there’s a reason?

Borders around countries. is it really needed? Could we travel more freely? I would like that. let’s make it happen, let’s unite laws to allow that. Boundaries, that what comes to mind too.

I don’t think there are many borders, especially color, culture. Borders are meant to shield you away. Don’t let borders block you from achieving.
Walls. Borders. Fences. These keep you from your goal. Tear them down and achieve what you want.

Oh the border. What I am suppose to say? How did we end up like this? Why did we let a physical border divide our relational landscape? What is America? Why have we forgotten to love one another? Why don’t we care for the strangers?

Borders. Physical borders. Imaginary borders. Who creates them, enforces them? Borders are tidy. Borders are constricting. Borders frame nice things. Borders restrict nice things. Borders was a bookstore…that I sorely miss.

Borders. Invisible borders. Physical borders. Who creates these? Borders are tidy. Borders are constricting. Borders frame nice things. Borders restrict nice things. Borders was a book store…that I sorely miss.
